There’s a new Event Center in the Quad Cities, and you’re invited to attend the Grand Opening! The Bend Event Center (910 Bend Boulevard East Moline) will be celebrating their Open House and Ribbon Cutting this Thursday Jun 27 from 4 – 7 p.m. Come witness the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided, featuring The Bend’s in-house caterer: Bass Street. Q-C Storm Wins Amos Award, Donates To United Way

Earlier this month, local hockey team the Quad City Storm were named Wanda Amos award winners; the award given by the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) for superior community service.
