Christmas comes to the Black Box Theatre as they present “Christmas Carol: On the Air,” featuring the classic Dickens story amongst the trappings of a 1940’s radio show. BREAKING: Illinois covid-19 numbers exploded yesterday, almost doubling from the day before and posting the worst day for covid since Dec. 1, 2020, when 12,542 new cases of the virus were reported. As Illinois was getting the bad news, Gov. Western Illinois University Administrative Information Management Systems (AIMS) University Applications Manager Jeff Eck has been named the Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month for November 2021. Eck began working in AIMS at WIU in October 2012 as a Computer Programmer II. He was then reallocated by audit in August 2013 to Applications Programmer I.
