Icestravaganza returns for the seventh year this Saturday Jan 19 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Freight House Farmer’s Market! Icetravaganza Fun Warms Up Freight House Crowd

On a day before record low temperatures were predicted to freeze the Quad-Cities, hundreds of people spent a brrrrr-tiful afternoon celebrating winter’s wiles during the free Icetravaganza at Davenport’s Freight House. To say Rock Island made a colossal error in wasting $15 million to woo Walmart to 11th Street is a stunning understatement. But what’s perhaps saddest and most pathetic about it is its irony.
