Backyard Boogie Rolling at Rozz-Tox

Join the Northern Parallels 043 for another open-air event, Backyard Boogie Edition, this Saturday Aug 8 from 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. at Rozz-Tox (2108 3rd Avenue Rock Island). This free, all ages event (21+ to drink), will feature DJ Sets from Mike Derer and HIGGY outside of Rozz-Tox. Outdoor seating includes the LaborSpace park next door, the side patio and the backyard. Quad City Botanical Center Hosting Annual Greenhouse Plant Sale

Looking to make your world a little greener? You can pre-order yourself some plants online from the Botanical Center! The Quad City Botanical Center is hosting its annual Greenhouse Stock Plant Sale Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. Times both days are 10 AM – 5 PM. The public is invited to shop the May weekend sale and pre-order plants by April 17. Pre-orders can be picked up May 8-9 during the sale.   The Quad Cities’ own Festival in the Sky featuring the United States Navy Blue Angels returns! Celebrating their 31st annual event, the Quad City Air Show returns to the Davenport Municipal Airport (9010 Harrison Street Davenport) on Saturday June 29 and Sunday Jun 30! Gates will open at 8 a.m. The Main Air Show will take place from 12 – 4 p.m. and the gates will close at 5 p.m. Adult tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.
