Halloween is creeping up and will be here before you know it. So why not start getting into the spirit now? Colonel Davenport Historical Foundation will be celebrating all that is spooky, with “Ghost Tales” this Saturday Sep 28 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., with scary stories told by local storytellers on the grounds of the Colonel Davenport House on Arsenal Island (Davenport Avenue Rock Island). Admission for this event is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and free for children 12 and younger and active military.
