The free annual festival spans the Iowa and Illinois riverfronts with events at Davenport’s LeClaire Park and Modern Woodmen Park and Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park on Sunday, July 3. Red, White And Boom Returns To Rock Island And Davenport Saturday!

The annual bi-state Red, White and Boom event in downtown Davenport and Rock Island returns on July 3, 2021. Activities start at 5 p.m. in Rock Island, 6 p.m. in Davenport and at 9:30 p.m., fireworks will be shot, in sync to music broadcast on 97X, from two barges in the middle of the Mississippi River. The annual Juneteenth festival in the Quad-Cities will be held Saturday, June 19, at TMBC at The Lincoln Center, 318 E. 7th St., Davenport, the former Lincoln Elementary School. Open since Feb. 1, 2021, TMBC stands for “Together Making a Better Community,” and the free Juneteenth event will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, including food and retail vendors, history and information booths, fun-filled games and entertainment for the whole family.
