Federal Credit Union – which today is celebrating the opening of its new branch at the booming BettPlex – is partnering with a brewery there to help fund the Honor Flight of the Quad Cities (HFQC). The credit union is holding a ribbon-cutting for its BettPlex location at 3 p.m. Feb. 11, at 4880 Forest Grove Dr., Bettendorf. Ready to roll on the river while rolling up to quaff some great craft beers? Tour de Brew QC /Katie’s Club offers a scenic, fun-filled route during the 7th annual ride Saturday, May 2. The 2020 route will cover about 45 miles on both sides of the river. Packet pick up is Friday, May 1 at Icons, 124 18th St., Rock Island, from 3 p.m. To 7 p.m. A pre-ride beer tasting will be held during that time in Icon’s courtyard.
