Moline’s TaxSlayer Center has postponed all events for 30 days due to concerns about the coronavirus. Illinois governor J.B. Pritzker announced plans to postpone all events expected to draw over 1000 people over the next month, and TaxSlayer has followed suit. Quad City Storm Season Suspended Due To Coronavirus

The Quad City Storm’s season, as well as the seasons of all SPHL hockey teams, has been suspended due to concerns over the coronavirus. A press release from the SPHL released this evening stated: For the safety of our fans, players, team personnel and arena staff, the Southern Professional Hockey League today announced that due to concerns over the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, it has suspended the 2019-2020 season effective immediately.
