Two energetic, friendly Quad Citizens are now scanning the streets of downtown Davenport to help inform, connect and problem-solve for those who live, work and play here. The Shenanigans have long been over, but some new shenanigans — at a second Daiquiri Factory — are about to begin. The Daiquiri Factory, long a mainstay among popular downtown Rock Island nightclubs, will be opening up a second spot in the old Shenanigan’s Pub building, 303 W. 3rd St., Davenport. After being bruised and battered from the spring 2019 flood and the 2020 pandemic, downtown Davenport is looking to a much brighter 2021, as the Davenport City Council officially accepted a comprehensive downtown master plan at its Jan. 27 meeting.
