Join Dress for Success Quad Cities for a one-of-a-kind event where 10 designers compete with runway-ready ensembles crafted from bags of recycled clothing they buy sight unseen in hopes of being one of the top 3 finalists to take home a cash prize. 100% of the nights’ proceeds will help provide free business-appropriate clothing, job-search support, mentoring and professional development workshops to women in the Quad Cities.

Recycle The Runway With Dress For Success! The theme for 2020 is “bloom where you are planted,” in celebration of the women served by Dress for Success who survive domestic violence, homelessness, physical and mental health crises, unemployment, financial insecurity, and more, and still have the courage to rise up and dream big.

In addition to a “Project Runway” style fashion show emceed by WQAD news anchor Angie Sharp, the event will offer a spectacular silent auction packed with items like Cubs tickets, a River Bandits suite package, a sunset cruise on the Mississippi and much more, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and wine & cocktail cash bars.

Enjoy live cocktail hour entertainment, try your luck at a wine pull, meet this year’s designers and models up close, and participate in a fun “flash fashion” contest to get a taste of what it’s like to design a piece for RTR!

For her first time in the Quad Cities, featured speaker Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide will share how this mission helps empower women and bring about lasting change both locally and around the globe.

Tickets can be purchased individually for $65 or in tables of 8 for $440 at RTR-2020.eventbrite.com. Early Bird prices end April 19!
