Moline and Muscatine Living Proof Exhibit Scheduling New Creative Sessions for Summer

Moline-based Living Proof Exhibit hosts Creative Sessions each month with a variety of community partners at various locations in the region and has one coming up in Muscatine, for the first time in a long time. To date, Living Proof Exhibit has provided free Creative Sessions to more than 2,400 participants in the Quad-Cities and Muscatine. Graduate students at Western Illinois University have been given the unique opportunity to reach out to a community in Honduras, even in the age of COVID-19. Graduate students in WIU’s Health Sciences program have been working alongside a Honduran community as public health consultants. While the award has been given since 2009, it was renamed six years ago in remembrance of Michaela Rae Romano (1988-2015), daughter of Western Illinois University professors of biology Michael and Susan Romano. Quad Cities Airport Continues Positive Trend in Passengers for April

The Quad Cities International Airport is continuing its impressive ascent in passenger traffic, as April saw more than 36,000 passengers travel through the Moline airport. For comparison, April 2020 saw just 2,734 total passengers as the pandemic took a firm hold across the globe.
