The highly anticipated Mississippi Valley Blues Festival returns this year, but in a new location! Due to the record-breaking flood of 2019, Mississippi Valley Blues Society announced the relocation of the 34th Mississippi Valley Blues Festival to Murphy Park at The Bend in East Moline (900 Bend Boulevard East Moline). QCScene joined the fun at the brand-new event from the Moline Parks and Recreation Department, Water Gun Fun Run, Saturday Jun 29 at Riverside Park (3300 5th Avenue Moline). The United Steelworkers negotiating committee released a much-awaited statement this morning, Friday Jun 28. “The USW and its locals at Arconic have reached a tentative agreement with the Company and will be returning home in the coming days to set up informational meetings and prepare for ratification.
