QC Scene was on the scene yesterday for Record Store Day at Moline’s CoOp Records, to celebrate the release of Einstein’s Sister’s first record in almost two decades. The Quad City Storm, your local hockey squad, is honoring veterans this weekend with their Salute To Veterans game Saturday night at 7 p.m.! There will be special deals for customers, special honors for veterans, and various benefits for veterans charities, including a jersey auction of special themed jerseys worn by the team that night! Is there any better way to have fun, while cooling off, on a hot Saturday morning than a Water Gun Fun Run?! No, there isn’t! QCScene joined the fun at the brand-new event from the Moline Parks and Recreation Department, Water Gun Fun Run, Saturday Jun 29 at Riverside Park (3300 5th Avenue Moline).
