The Figge Café, which has been closed since March 17 due to Covid, will be reopening to the public on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. The café is inside the Figge Art Museum, 225 W. 2nd St., Davenport, which reopened in June. This reopening will feature the culinary skills of Chef Jason Stewart from Zeke’s Island Café. Western Illinois University Alumna Wins Online Singing Competition

MACOMB, IL – A 2018 Western Illinois University alumna has won the Seth Sing-Off: Stephanie J. Block edition. Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate Sam Bonzi won the competition, which is part of “The Seth Concert Series.” The edition aired online Monday, Aug. 17. Bonzi submitted a tape of her singing a portion of “The Wizard and I,” and was chosen as one of five finalists to appear on the live show. She then was chosen the winner.
