Ukrainian-style eggs, or pysanky, are eggshells that are decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a batik process using layers of wax and dye to “write” on eggshells. This workshop will feature a blaudruck-inspired design. Blaudruck, or German “blue-print” is a traditional folk art that is on UNESCO’s list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
