Quad City Storm Adds Six Players To Lineup

The Quad City Storm announced today that the team has signed Chris Kravchuk, Troy Henley, Vinny Caligiuri, Jake Schultz, Joe McKeown, and Tommy Tsicos to a professional tryout agreement for the team’s October training camp. Chicago, Illinois native Chris Kravchuk most recently played in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dogs and the Fayettesville Marksmen. The Storm is storming forward with a new season, promotions and a community initiative to skate new hockey fans into their TaxSlayer home. WQPT Invites Public To Preview New Ken Burns Documentary

Quad City Arts announces 45th Visiting Artist Series season

In 1974, pianist Barbara Nissman visited Quad City area schools, beginning a tradition that later became Quad City Arts’ Visiting Artist Series. The 2018-2019 Visiting Artist Series brings ten artists and ensembles to visit the Quad Cities region from September 2018 through March 2019.  These artists will perform over 200 engagements to audiences in local K-12 schools, colleges, and a variety of community sites, including local libraries, churches, senior centers and public concert venues across six counties and two states.
