The Storm is storming forward with a new season, promotions and a community initiative to skate new hockey fans into their TaxSlayer home. The team will hold a press conference to announce plans at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the TaxSlayer Center, Moline. Quad City Storm Storming Forward With New Season And Promotions
 
The new hockey team will release the 2018-2019 inaugural season promotional schedule, introduce their non-profit fundraising program and give a sneak peek at the Power Grafx Merchandise Store. In addition, the team will announce their training camp schedule, their new easy-to-use group ticketing system and the fundraising opportunities for non-profits. The TaxSlayer Center will introduce new food items and specials that will launch with opening night on October 20.
 
The press conference will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 26 at the TaxSlayer Center in the Green Tree Brewery area on the concourse level. The press is invited to tour the merchandise store and members of the Storm team, including owners Ryan Mosley and John Dawson and President Gwen Tombergs, will be available for comment following the program. The TaxSlayer Center will also be building ice at this time.
 
The Quad City Storm will open training camp October 11 and the preseason game against Peoria is set for October 13 at Peoria’s very own Carver Arena. The Storm’s regular-season schedule will beginOctober 20 against the Peoria Rivermen at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline.  Single game tickets go on sale October 1
