The Quad Cities Registered High School Apprenticeship 2023 Signing Day Event was held today at the Waterfront Center in Bettendorf! During this event 55 students from the Davenport Community School District signed apprenticeships with area employers. De Viann Titus-Porter, a St. Ambrose football player and senior who graduated from North High School, has organized an event with St. Ambrose athletics at Wilson Elementary to motivate students. The Davenport West High School Art Department would like to congratulate senior, Abbey Young, on being selected as 1 of only 9 students in the state of Iowa to make the All-State Art Team for the 4A level. Abbey submitted a portfolio of 10 works and an artist statement that was judged by 4 college professors and recognized as outstanding.
