Quad Cities Registered High School Apprenticeship Signing Day Held In Bettendorf

The Quad Cities Registered High School Apprenticeship 2023 Signing Day Event was held today at the Waterfront Center in Bettendorf!

During this event 55 students from the Davenport Community School District signed apprenticeships with area employers. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds also attended the event and signed the Office of Apprenticeship bill into law, surrounded by local students and members of the apprenticeship program.

The apprenticeships are a chance for high school students to gain real-world work experience. They learn technical and professional skills through related training with Davenport Schools and on-the-job learning with a partner company.
