Davenport West Senior Abbey Young Selected For All-State Art Team

The Davenport West High School Art Department would like to congratulate senior, Abbey Young, on being selected as 1 of only 9 students in the state of Iowa to make the All-State Art Team for the 4A level. Abbey submitted a portfolio of 10 works and an artist statement that was judged by 4 college professors and recognized as outstanding. She will be receiving a plaque for the school in Des Moines on June 25th. If you see Abbey, please congratulate her on this huge accomplishment!
