Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17), a member of the House Agriculture Committee, promoted clean energy investments going to rural communities and highlighted his work to strengthen Illinois agriculture.   Sorensen joined U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Senior Advisor Cindy Axne and Rural Development State Director Betsy Dirksen Londrigan to highlight clean energy investments on local farms made possible through USDA grants. Western Illinois Leathernecks Hit the Road for Southern Indiana, Morehead State

The Western Illinois men’s basketball team begins a four-game road stretch with a pair of games this week. The Leathernecks open the trip on Thursday, heading to Southern Indiana to take on the Screaming Eagles at 8 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPNU along with the normal ESPN+ online stream and Q98.1 FM radio/online audio broadcast. The Leathernecks (12-7, 5-1 in Ohio Valley Conference play) follow that with a Saturday match at OVC leader, Morehead State.
