Tracy Family Foundation Continues Support of GRTC

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL – With a series of gifts to Western Illinois University’s Great River Teacher Corps (GRTC), the Tracy Family Foundation of Mt. Sterling, IL, is continuing its support of the program which adds quality teachers to the region. WIU’s GRTC program began in 2018, and celebrated its first graduate in May 2020. After a decade as the emcee and co-leader of the Bottoms Up Burlesque Troupe, Joshua Kahn, “The Ghost of Vaudeville,” is doing his last shows this weekend, before taking an extended sabbatical to celebrate the birth of his child and to spend time with his wife and family. Figge Art Museum Awards Four $12,000 Scholarships to Quad-Cities Students

The Figge Art Museum, Davenport, has announced the 2021 recipients of the prestigious $12,000 Brand Boeshaar scholarships. These scholarships are awarded to students who wish to earn a degree in fine arts, graphic design, architecture or art education at a college or university. Davenport resident Lillian L. Brand established the Brand Boeshaar Scholarship in memory of her nephew, William Brand Boeshaar, an art student who attended St. Ambrose University.
