Tour de Brew QC /Katie’s Club is again ready to raise money for area cancer organizations for a 7th year and is gearing up to announce this year’s route. The new route will be announced during a special fundraising trivia night set for Feb. 21 at the Knights of Columbus, 1111 W. 35th St. in Davenport. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event starts at 7 p.m. There will be tables of 8. No team? No problem! Organizers can assign you a table. Cost is $10 per person / $80 per table. There will be a cash bar. Junior Theater's 'Wizard of Oz' Drops This Weekend

Davenport Junior Theatre (DJT) continues its 68th season of theatre “for kids, by kids’  this weekend and next with the Wizard of Oz on the mainstage. Showtimes are at 1 and 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. “We last mounted the show in 2011,” said Daniel Sheridan, Artistic Director.  “Our Mainstage Company is far more dynamic now, with more resources and more students to help tell this amazing story.  In terms of cast, this is the largest show in DJT’s history.” Wizard of Oz involves over 50 students from 9 different area cities and towns in the QC. Athletes with mental or physical disabilities can check out the Beautiful Game with a beauty of a new program from East Moline Silvis Soccer Club! EMSSC is proud to present Top Soccer!  This program is for athletes ages 5-22 with mental or physical disabilities who want to learn to play soccer.  This will be a four week session in May, where once per week athletes practice skills and then participate in a coach-led game!
