Tour de Brew QC /Katie’s Club is again ready to raise money for area cancer organizations for a 7th year and is gearing up to announce this year’s route. The new route will be announced during a special fundraising trivia night set for Feb. 21 at the Knights of Columbus, 1111 W. 35th St. in Davenport. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event starts at 7 p.m. There will be tables of 8. No team? No problem! Organizers can assign you a table. Cost is $10 per person / $80 per table. There will be a cash bar. Also, mark your calendars for the Tour de Brew QC bike ride, which will be held Saturday, May 2nd. The course takes riders on both sides of the river, with several establishments serving as special stops. If you don’t ride, you can still take part.

Since 2014, Tour de Brew QC has raised more than $100,000 for cancer programs. People come from all over the country to take part. Last year’s flooding impacted numbers, but in 2018, 563 riders took part, an all time high. Round 7 is sure to be the biggest and best year yet.
