Cambridge Summer Community Theater Program Starts Tuesday with “Tom ‘n’ Huck”

On Tuesday, Aug. 3rd, Cambridge’s College Square Park will be the site of a summer theater performance of Craig Sodaro’s “Tom ‘n’ Huck,” starting at 7:30 p.m. The play is the first performance of a summer community theater program, thanks to the support of the summer AIM Program through the Henry Stark Bureau Regional Office of Education. The AIM Program has been a part of Cambridge Schools for over five years, but this is the first public play. Admission is free to the public. Davenport Junior Theatre (DJT) will be celebrating its 70th season of theater “for kids, by kids” with a four-show Mainstage season consisting of two DJT classics, Winnie-the-Pooh and Imagine That!, and two first-time shows: Annie Jr. and The Phantom Tollbooth. Davenport Junior Theatre (DJT) continues its 68th season of theatre “for kids, by kids’  this weekend and next with the Wizard of Oz on the mainstage.
