Join Davenport Public Library every third Wednesday, through December 15th at 2:00 pm at Eastern (6000 Eastern Ave.) as we watch classic movies starring your favorite actors and actresses! For your safety, we will not be serving popcorn or refreshments. However, you are welcome to bring your movie snacks and covered beverages! Spice Up Your Winter With New Recipes At Davenport Public Library

The world is full of different spices and we are going to attempt to try them all! Join us on the first Tuesday of each month through December at 6:30 pm at Fairmount (3000 N. Fairmount St.) as we try a new spice and recipe, which will be provided to you. Come back the following month to discuss the spice and recipes we tried. We will discuss the importance of salt, taste different varieties, learn how to properly use it, and have a tasty treat at the end. Think of it as a book club for cooking! Throughout the month of December, the Library will host its popular Brown Bag Lunch series on the Bettendorf Public Library’s YouTube channel.
