On Friday, January 21, 2022, the Iowa Chapter of Certified Public Accountants is personally donating a new book to several first-grade classrooms in the Davenport Community School District. Local CPAs will be reading, “When I Grow Up I Want to Be An Accountant,” by Dr. Adrian L. Mayse, CPA, to these first graders. Project NOW has partnered with the 14th Judicial Circuit in Rock Island County, the Rock Island County Bar Association, Prairie State Legal Services, Inc., and the Salvation Army to develop an Eviction Diversion Program (EDP) which has been operating for months.
