The Black Box Theatre located in downtown Moline is presenting ‘The Guys’ by Anne Nelson to honor the heroism of first responders on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Based on a true story, “The Guys” follows an editor named Joan, who receives an unexpected phone call on behalf of Nick, a fire captain who has lost most of his men in the 9/11 attack. He is looking for a writer to help him with the eulogies he must present at their memorial services. Davenport's Mockingbird On Main Theater Announces New Covid-19 Policies

Davenport’s new theater, Mockingbird on Main, has announced new covid-19 policies for upcoming shows. The theater’s owner and creative director Tristan Tapscott said the following today: “In order to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our guests and artists, The Mockingbird On Main has updated its Covid-19 policies. The Mockingbird On Main will require all guests, artists, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and media to show valid proof of full vaccination in order to enter the downtown arts space.
