Moline Little League and the City of Moline are happy to announce the continuation of a great tradition within the City of Moline. Come out and enjoy the 2019 Halloween Parade this Sunday Oct 20 at 2 p.m. This year’s theme is ‘Field of Screams’ (haunted farms, scarecrows, etc.) Join in on the themed fun or use the parade as an opportunity to take that new Halloween costume for a test drive! A spooky escape game full of local haunts makes for a timely addition to the Rock Island Public Library’s programming treats for October. Escape rooms are a fun way to try creative problem solving with family and friends. Ages 12 and up can sign up now to take on the Library’s Haunted Escape Room game on Tuesday, October 22. The Rock Island Public Library Foundation and the Lorene Evans Watts Fund for Children’s Materials will host the “Books for Kids” Trivia Night on Friday. November 1, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 4th Avenue, Rock Island. The latest Illinois Youth Soccer rankings just came out today, and the EMSSC Spartans U12 team has leapt into the top ten, at the number 9 ranking! The team is 16-3 and has only lost to teams ranked in the top three from Illinois and Missouri.
