Quad City Strikers Warriors Are The NUMBER ONE RANKED Team In Iowa!

The Quad City Strikers Warriors 2008 boys soccer team is the top-ranked squad in all of Iowa! The team, coached by Juan and Christian Nuci, is undefeated at 15 wins, zero losses and one draw, and has been ranked number one in the state at the 2008 boys level since the beginning of the fall season in all but one week. They’ve played the top-ranked teams in Iowa and Nebraska in various tournaments over the past months, defeating them all. EMSSC Spartans Ranked #9 In Illinois!

The latest Illinois Youth Soccer rankings just came out today, and the EMSSC Spartans U12 team has leapt into the top ten, at the number 9 ranking! The team is 16-3 and has only lost to teams ranked in the top three from Illinois and Missouri. Last weekend, they finished second at the Peoria Oktoberfest after a thrilling 4-3 loss to Peoria, which was ranked #1 last year and is in the top three this year, but the road to the championship game included wins against three teams ranked in the top 15 and two in the top 10. Q-C Rush Is Number One In Illinois!

The Quad-Cities Rush U11 team is the number one ranked team in all of Illinois, according to the latest GotSoccer rankings. The Rush had previously been number three, after moving up from four in their first ranking this fall. In addition, the Rush is ranked number 15 in their multi-state region, which includes the Midwest and middle of the country, and number 261 among the thousands of teams nationwide. They never gave up, they never gave in, and they emerged champions. The QC Rush U11 team had a tough road to travel during the East Moline Labor Day Soccer Tournament. The undefeated (7-0-1) Rush, ranked #4 in Illinois according to the last GotSoccer ratings going into the tournament, were not only playing up against U12 teams, but they had the hardest draw in the tournament, playing against two, and ultimately three, of the top ten U12 teams in the state to get to the finals, and to win the gold. Led by the core of the now-disbanded Mid America Premier youth soccer squad, augmented by various players from the likewise defunct Moline United, the new Quad-Cities Rush continued their dominance at the U11 youth soccer level, remaining undefeated after three tough matches against some of the best soccer teams in Illinois and Iowa this weekend. Mid America Premier youth soccer dissolved over the summer but it ended its run on top. GotSoccer, the international site which ranks teams from around the world, ranked Mid America Premier’s undefeated U10 team as number one in Illinois for the 2017-18 season, ahead of its rivals in Peoria and Chicago and the vaunted Scott Gallagher teams from St. Louis and southern Illinois.
