Karaoke at The Speakeasy is back on July 14 at 8:00. What makes then different than other Karaoke events in town? The biggest difference is they have an actual stage you will be performing on! They also have professional stage lighting and sound so you will sound and look great when singing your favorite songs! Doors will open at 7:30 and Karaoke begins at 8. Black Hawk College Hosting Mockingbird’s “The Glass Menagerie”

The Mockingbird on Main will present Tennessee Williams’ classic memory play, “The Glass Menagerie,” at the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Campus on July 7-8 and July 13-15. The Mockingbird on Main’s theatre was located on the first floor of the building that collapsed May 28 in Davenport, Iowa. The 40-seat theatre has been closed since the collapse, and as the building has been torn down, The Mockingbird is in search of a new home. The Bettendorf Public Library is offering makers of all genres a chance to share their work and be entered into a prize drawing. The library’s promotion Find Your Voice: Make Your Mark is seeking maker submissions created between July 1st and July 31st. Multiple entries can be submitted. Photos must be submitted before July 31, 2023 to be eligible. The prize drawing for a customized tote bag will take place on August 1, 2023. Only one prize per person will be awarded.
