After deliberation, the QC Beats Board has decided who will be added to the QC Beats Collection! The QC Beats team is pleased to announced that the 2021-2022 QC Beats artists added to the collection are: Centaur Noir, kumate, Steve Couch, and TuCent! Congratulations to our winners! German American Heritage Center Hosting Reading Club

Do you know someone between the ages of 10-14 who loves to read? Have them join the German American Heritage Center Reading Club throughout 2022! On the second Sunday of each month, students will be asked to meet -in person or via Zoom- to discuss that month’s selection, hear the perspective of others, and socialize with their peers. Meetings will last 1.5 hours and a light breakfast will be served. Discussions will be moderated by GAHC staff. Each month a selection will be offered on loan in physical copy. Quad-Cities Covid Numbers Continue To Skyrocket, Genesis Hits Record High For A Month

Quad-Cities covid numbers continue to skyrocket, as Genesis Health Systems reports its latest numbers, and logs a record high for a month. December 2021 was the highest month over the past year, and the second-highest month overall for COVID-19 hospital admissions since the start of the pandemic. In December 356 patients were admitted with COVID-19. The highest number of admissions was Nov. 2020 with 501. Since the start of the pandemic, 3,060 patients have been hospitalized with COVID-19 at Genesis Medical Centers. Hundreds more have been treated as outpatients.
