Writers of all type and level will find a home at the Bettendorf Writing Club hosted by the Bettendorf Public Library. On Thursday, December 9th at 6:30 PM, the club will meet at the Library located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. in Bettendorf. No registration is required to participate in this free event. The Bettendorf Writing Club is designed to give writers the chance to share short pieces of their work and includes writing exercises along with a brief lesson from seasoned authors. The Bettendorf Public Library will explore the lore and history of Santa Claus with a live, virtual presentation by historian, Laura Keyes. The online event is part of the Library’s Community Connections series which will be hosted on December 7th at 7:00 PM via GoToMeeting.
