The Quad City Storm is getting an early jump on raising money for the Hockey Fights Cancer Game on February 1, 2020. This year, you can honor a loved one who fought cancer by putting their name on a ribbon in the color of the cancer they fought for only $20. If all 1300 ribbons are sold, the Storm will have raised $26,000 before one jersey is sold!

 

You can also buy a replica jersey with your loved one’s name on it!

 

All net proceeds from the ribbon, replica jersey and game-worn jerseys will go to the UnityPoint Health Trinity Cancer Center.

 

Two colors are new this year – Gold for children’s cancer and Plum to honor the caregivers.

 

The ribbon colors available are:

Purple – all cancers

Pink – breast, thyroid

Teal – gynecological

Orange – leukemia, uterine

Gray – brain, lung

Green – lymphoma, gallbladder liver

Blue – colon, prostate, stomach, thyroid

Gold – children’s cancer

Plum – caregiver
