Live music is returning to the River Music Experience, at 2nd and Main streets, Davenport, next month for the first time since Covid-19 shut down events in mid-March. The outdoor Live@Five series will resume in the courtyard, totally free, for all ages, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each Friday in August and September. New guidelines will be enforced, to ensure safety of guests, staff and musicians – Face masks are required for entry and bar service. The Quad Cities’ grassroots music festival “Dawn and On” will rise over Rock Island’s Schwiebert Park Saturday! The day-long festival, now heading into it’s fifth year, had previously been held at Moline’s North Shore Inn in each of it’s first 4 years. Dawn and On has grown in attendance each year, exceeding 1500 attendees in 2018. Quad Cities Music Festival Dawn and On has announced Family Resources as their charity partner for the 2019 event. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated directly to the Family Resources’ Engaging Males program for music mentoring.
