There’s a foreboding line early in the excellent “Murder in Green Meadows” (which concludes its run Saturday at the Black Box Theatre) – “Everything is perfect. What could be wrong?” Well, as we’ll soon learn, quite a lot. Blackbox Theatre's 'Murder In Green Meadows' Thriller Creeps Into Moline This Weekend

Creeping in this weekend at Blackbox Theatre in Moline is the psychological thriller “Murder in Green Meadows” by Douglas Post. The original production received six Emmy Award nominations when presented on TV with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. The Black Box production stars James Driscoll, Jenny Winn, Jonathan Grafft and Lora Adams and directed by Jacqueline Isaacson. Set design by Adams with construction by Michael Kopriva. Rock Island, Illinois – The Augustana College Department of Theatre announces its lineup of productions for the 2021-22 season, which will include more performances than in previous years. Main stage productions take place in the Kim and Donna Brunner Main Stage Theatre and are directed by Augustana College professors. The past 17 months have kind of been a disaster around the world. In the land of Quad-Cities musical theater, “Disaster!” will continue into 2022, as both Quad City Music Guild and Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse plan to stage a ‘70s-themed jukebox musical comedy of that name within three months of each other.
