A Washington Jr. High student got to have her wish come true! Markelah Hicks suffers from diabetes and wanted to meet a princess so the staff at WJHS made it happen! They reached out to Miss Iowa, Alysa Goethe and she stopped by the school. Miss Iowa who also suffers from diabetes shared her story with Health, AVID, and Functional classrooms.
