If you close your eyes during the terrific, open-hearted, snarky musical “Holiday Inn,” now at Music Guild in Moline, there is virtually no way to tell that the incredibly talented, dedicated volunteer performers are singing with cloth masks on. (Precise diction helps and those must be powerful body mics, thank God.) Playcrafters Barn Theatre in Moline has announced its lineup of shows for their 2022 season, along with the directors. The season consists of eight productions in two series, running from February to November 2022. The productions are: The Odd Couple by Neil Simon, Feb. 18-20, 25-27; Mainstage production directed by Teresa A. During last week’s Moline City Council Committee-of-the-Whole meeting, aldermen held an informational discussion looking at the city’s gaming regulations and whether they should be modified in order to allow more establishments to offer slots and other gaming machines as well as increasing the number of gaming stations allowed in those establishments.
