The Quad City Interfaith Breakfast will be serving up their 12th annual fundraising breakfast from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, at 3420 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport. Two Options are available this year. Option 1: We will have Drive thru pick up available from 7:00am to 8:30am at Edwards Church 3420 Jersey Ridge Rd. Davenport, IA 52807 Option 2: We will also offer deliveries. Quad-Cities Soars To Sixth Worst Covid Hot Spot In The United States

The Quad-Cities has rocketed up to SIXTH among the top 10 worst covid outbreak spots in the nation, according to data from the CDC, the New York Times reported today. According to the data, the Illinois/Iowa Quad-Cities is now inside the top ten most rapidly spiking hot spots nationwide for a second week in a row, roaring from number 13 to number 7 to number 6 in just two weeks. A new shutdown and restrictions could be coming this week as covid numbers continued to skyrocket in the Illinois and Iowa Quad-Cities and their respective regions and states over the weekend. Western Illinois University Professor Eric C. Sheffield has been named director of the WIU School of Education, according to College of Education and Human Services Dean Francis Godwyll.
