Group O Donates Thousands of Roku Devices To Quad-Cities Healthcare Workers

Nearly 4,000 Roku Streaming Sticks were donated to frontline health care workers at Unity Point and Genesis Health centers on Thursday, February 4. Despite blizzard-like conditions and freezing temperatures, Group O employees loaded up the devices at the company’s Milan warehouse and delivered them to Unity Point Health-Trinity Health Foundation in Rock Island and Genesis Medical Center – East Campus in Davenport to show appreciation for months of hard work during the unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic. UnityPoint Health® – Trinity is excited to announce the first Quad City baby was born at 12:20 a.m. Nora Grace Hessman was delivered by team members at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Moline Birthplace. The healthy baby girl was born to parents Brittany & Mark Hessman. Quad-Cities Health Systems Temporarily Reduce Elective Surgeries

In an effort to reduce COVID-19 pressures on medical center resources, Genesis Health System and UnityPoint Health – Trinity will temporarily reduce elective surgeries and procedures starting Monday, Nov. 16. This decision is made in collaboration with Iowa’s Region 5 hospitals and physician leadership of the Quad-Cities health systems. The reduction of elective surgeries will continue through Nov. 20, when the change will be reassessed.
