Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse in Rock Island is pleased to welcome back the world renowned Beatles tribute band, THE RETURN, for one show on Thursday, June 20th.  Doors open at 6 and the show begins at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the show.  This is a show-only performances, however, the theatre will offer sandwich baskets and appetizers for purchase. A Tempest Is Brewing At Genesius Guild

The Genesius Guild will present The Tempest by Shakespeare on June 15, 16, 22, and 23. Performances start at 8:00 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Classic Theatre in Rock Island. Admission is free. The Tempest is thought to be one of the last plays that Shakespeare wrote without collaborating with other authors. Beneath the comic themes about a ship crew stranded on the enchanted island, the show explores themes of family, betrayal, and forgiveness. The Speakeasy in downtown Rock Island will be hosting a drag show on Saturday, June 1.  All door proceeds from the show will go to the owners and staff of Mary’s On 2nd in Davenport who suffered damage and lost income during the flood.  The Speakeasy will donate all proceeds from ticket sales directly back to Mary’s on 2nd. Auditions will be held at the theater on 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30.
