I approved the request, as I normally do approve requests from commercial entities seeking to pad their friend count (hey, I’m a businessman too, I know the game), and also because I thought it was funny that a hotel, particularly the Super 8, sent me a friend request. Candy, floats and costumes? It must be time for the annual Davenport Halloween Parade! This year’s parade will take place this Saturday Oct 28 at 2 p.m. in downtown Davenport. The parade route will begin at 3rd and Brady, then turn onto Ripley Street, continue down 2nd Street and end at 3rd and Iowa Street. The Harrison St, River Center and Redstone Ramps will all be available for parking (parking rates apply).
