Davenport North Hosts Jesse Day Relays

Davenport North hosted the 88th Annual Jesse Day Relays, April 13, 2023, at Brady St. Stadium! This relay event is named after Jesse Day, who was a Geometry and track coach for the Davenport Community School District.

Virginia Wayne, daughter of Jesse Day, was recognized at the relay event because she was celebrating her 95th birthday. In honor of this special day, Virginia and her family donated $2,000 to support the Jesse Day Relays!
