East Moline Main Street’s Freedom Fest is August 21st from 1 to 11 p.m. There will vendors to shop, a bags tournament, pinup contest, and a car show that draws 200+ cars. Ani DiFranco’s concert originally slated for Thursday at Codfish Hollow in Maquoketa has been postponed due to concerns about the rapid spread of the covid delta variant. DiFranco’s management released the following statement: Due to the growing complications of the Covid-19 Delta variant, we are unfortunately needing to make some changes to Ani DiFranco’s upcoming touring.
