Rock & Roll For A Great Cause In Muscatine Saturday

By Tony Tone Locosole When the crisis phone line rings in the middle of the night at the Muscatine Center for Social Action (MCSA) Domestic Violence Shelter, it is never a good sign. What is good is that someone on the other end of that call is available day or night to help. For the last 18 1/2 years, the shelter has done just that for local women and children in need. For the record, he has no lucky charms,... Read More

Each Friday and Saturday night, there is an adult level after show following the regularly scheduled Comedy Sportz performance in the District of Rock Island. This is the point where the kids exit the building so the bigger kids can let loose on stage. There is a different show every Friday and Saturday night. They rotate and come up with new ideas all the time to add into the mix. The show from last weekend is known as “Don’t Try This At Home”. Talk about a full house! I almost had to stand up for the show. Luckily, there was a spot by the bar just perfect for me. I needed to... Read More

Crew Neck Rolling Up Its Last Show On Monday

With the weather getting colder, having shows at Garage 3 is going to require wearing more than a crew neck, so next Monday, Crew Neck Comedy is calling it a year for 2016, having their last show at 8 p.m. at the venue at 817 22nd St., Rock Island.
