Western Illinois University Deadline Extended for Undergraduate Research Day Abstracts

The deadline for students to submit abstracts for participation in Western Illinois University’s Undergraduate Research Day has been extended to Tuesday, April 11. Undergraduate students from all majors are invited to submit their faculty-mentored research and creative projects for participation in the 20th annual Thomas E. Iowa’s St. Ambrose University Holds Garden Dedication For EveryChild Program

St. Ambrose in Davenport encourages but will not require Covid vaccination this fall.

In partnership with EveryChild, St. Ambrose University hosted a pinwheel garden dedication at the St. Ambrose Children’s Campus at 3:00pm on April 5th. Students from the Children’s Campus at SAU were present to help plant the pinwheels. The garden dedication and planting is part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time when communities nationwide recognize the role everyone plays in keeping kids safe. The Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center (GBCC) at Western Illinois University is accepting applications for its annual Black Alumni Council Scholarship. A group of six Western Illinois University international graduate students were chosen to attend a Montessori Model United Nations conference in mid-February in New York City, NY. After a nearly four-year hiatus Project NOW will be welcoming students to their new Head Start location in Aledo. The classrooms are located inside Community Bible Fellowship at 1109 SE 3rd Street.
