TaxSlayer Ranked As One Of The Top Arenas In The U.S. For Ticket Sales

A local arena is getting national recognition as one of the tops in the country for ticket sales! Moline’s TaxSlayer Center has been named one of the top arenas in the U.S. in ticket sales for the year, according to a news release from the venue. The TaxSlayer ranks fifth in the nation in sales for arenas under 12,000 seats for 2021, according to Pollstar Magazine’s year-end analysis report. The Quad Cities arena sold 40,771 tickets that grossed about $2.3 million after reopening in July. A group of Western Illinois University students have found part-time work through an artistic endeavor at the McDonough County YMCA, which teaches class members gymnastics and circus-related skills, and has resulted in educational lessons for the young women. Moline is restarting its search for a new high speed broadband provider – this time with help from consultants – in order to take a fresh look at the City’s needs and available services.
