Adler Theatre and VenuWorks present Carrot Top on Thursday, May 19, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at the Adler Theatre in Davenport. Syrian-American funk and soul band Bassel & The Supernaturals’ public show in downtown Davenport will take place at  7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Raccoon Motel, 315 E. 2nd St., Davenport. Teens between the ages of 11-19 are invited to show off their creativity and filmmaking skills by creating videos for the QC Libraries’ Annual Teen Video Contest! Two grand prizes of $100 Visa gift cards will be awarded to winning videos in each category: Short Form Video (30-60 seconds) and Long Form Video (3-5 minutes). Many in Quad-Cities Are Mourning the Sudden, Shocking Death of a Young Musician

The family, friends, co-workers, teachers and students of Thomas William Hagaman are mourning his sudden, unexpected death at age 26 on Oct. 8. A big-hearted, boisterous musician who touched the lives of so many, Hagaman worked at Griggs Music in Davenport; was choir director at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasant Valley, and died on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021 in an accident at his home, where he lived alone.
