It is not debatable, when it comes to the Olympic styles of wrestling, Illinois is the absolute best. This makes the Illinois Freestyle State Tournament among the toughest in the Nation. Today 5 Rocks competed, and while Antonio Parker, Amare Overton (top 8 finish), Steven Marquez (top 6 finish), and Andrew Marquez (top 6 finish) all had long days and battled hard, Truth Vesey was the lone medalist, taking 3rd Place and earning a spot on the IL National Team and will be competing for them at Nationals in Fargo!
