Genesis Expanding Vaccine Clinic To All Quad-Citians

Genesis COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic is now open to both patients and non-patients to reach more people in the region. The vaccines are working and Genesis is expanding access. Genesis is currently administering Pfizer vaccine at the vaccination clinic. The Genesis vaccination site is the former Dick’s Sporting Goods location at 5250 Elmore Ave., Davenport. First dose appointments are now available on Tuesday and Thursdays, with evening hours. New online scheduling makes it easy to get your COVID-19 vaccine to help end the pandemic. Following the meticulous, painstaking preservation of a former one-room school in Bettendorf — completed in September 2019, after more than seven years — the project supporters envisioned reopening as a museum in early 2020. Then Covid happened. Western Illinois University Director of Transitional Programs Michelle Janisz has been named the Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month for April. Janisz began working at WIU in July 2001 as the assistant director of student activities. She left WIU in June 2005, but returned in August 2011 as director of student activities and coordinator of development. She transitioned to her current position in February 2019.
